We have just finished a consultation with the Arkansas Department of Health(ADH) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). While we feel that it is extremely important for students to be at school it is also important to keep everyone safe. After ADH and ADE’s review of all our data, they have determined that while we do not have school spread we do have community spread which impacts our school.
This determination means that we will pivot to virtual learning for the week of December 7-11.
We will be monitoring the situation to determine if it becomes necessary to extend virtual learning the following week. As all of you know, COVID spread is unpredictable, however, we are closely monitoring the situation and will be providing additional information about possible closures for the week of Dec. 14-18. We hope to have this determination made by Wednesday or Thursday, Dec. 9th or 10th.
Students who are in need of additional support can reach their teachers by contacting your child's school.
