Fall 2022 Scholarship: 50% off Freshman Tuition & Fees

UA Little Rock is offering incoming freshmen a scholarship that covers up to half of their course tuition and course fees for the 2022-23 academic year. We recognize the exceptional situation caused by the pandemic and are expanding the previously announced Trojan Strong scholarship to make this incredible opportunity possible for new freshmen students.

Requirements and How to Apply

Incoming students are not required to apply for these funds and awards will be processed automatically for those who meet the following requirements:

• Unconditionally admitted as an incoming freshman for fall 2022
• Enrolled in 12 or more credit hours for fall 2022
• Students with institutional scholarships of $5000 or more are not eligible

This scholarship opportunity will be awarded to the first 1,000 eligible students for fall 2022! It is renewable for the spring 2023 term for those who earn a 2.25 GPA and enroll in 12 or more credit hours for spring. Students that meet the renewal requirements will also be eligible to receive the 50% tuition & fees for their sophomore year in 2023-24.

Award Amount

Up to $5,000, awarded equally over fall and spring semesters. Only in-state tuition and fee charges will be covered. The scholarship is funded through a combination of private and institutional funds.

Participation in Student Success Initiatives

UA Little Rock has significantly ramped up its investment in support services for students. Recipients of this award must agree to participate in student success initiatives as recommended by their advisor. Student success topics include academic success, life skills, and financial literacy.
