Rattler Family, Magazine High School was recently recognized by the Arkansas School Recognition Program for its high student performance and academic growth and being among the Top 10 percent of all Arkansas schools in those areas. Awards are based on student assessment results from the 2023-2024 school year and graduation rates from the 2022-2023 school year. The Arkansas School Recognition Program provides financial awards to the Top 10 percent of public schools that achieve high student performance on the state-required assessments in grades 3 through 10 and the Top 10 percent of public schools that achieve high student academic growth, including high school graduation rates where applicable. Magazine High School received a more than $9,000 financial award, and High School Principal Matt Binford and teacher Bethany Shelby were presented a commemorative check to recognize this great award during Wednesday night's Magazine School Board of Education meeting.
