Rattler Family, if your student is interested in playing volleyball next school year (2026-27), there will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday (April 21) at Diamondback Arena. Student-athletes entering grades 7-9 will meet from 5:30-6 p.m., and student-athletes entering grades 10-12 will meet from 6:15-6:45 p.m. Topics of discussion will be fundraising, team camps, coaches' standards and expectations, the summer and season schedules and student-athlete contracts. Rattler Family, if your student will be entering grades 7-12 and is interested in participating in athletics and/or band during the 2026-27 school year, they must have an athletic physical before they can practice or participate in competition. The Magazine Wellness Center will give free athletic physicals for Magazine Schools student-athletes and band students in the coming weeks. Forms for free physicals will be sent home with students today and tomorrow (April 15-16). Forms MUST be returned by Friday (April 17). Please be advised: Our counselors will never contact you by phone to request payment of any kind. We will never ask for payment over the phone or request sensitive financial information in this manner.
If you receive a call like this, we encourage you to:

Rattler Family, here is a senior high softball schedule update. The 1A-4 Conference game between Magazine and Western Yell County scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at Western Yell County has been canceled as WYC has canceled what remains of its softball season.. The game will be counted as win by forfeit for Magazine as far as the conference standings are concerned. Magazine will now play a regular-season, nonconference game against Greenwood's junior varsity at 4:30 p.m. on Monday (April 20) beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Greenwood. Rattler Juniors and Seniors, the 2026 Magazine High School Junior and Senior Prom will be Saturday (April 18) at The Barn at Meadowbrook. The grounds will be open at 5 p.m. for pictures, and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Food will be served at 6 p.m., and festivities will begin shortly thereafter. Tickets cost $20 per person.
