Rattler Family, the annual Logan County Veterans Walk will be Saturday, Sept. 201, beginning at the Paris Courthouse. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The walk route will follow Highway 109 south to Magazine at the intersection of Highway 109 and Highway 10 and then turn west on Highway 10 to the intersection of Highway 23 at the Booneville Courthouse. Rattler Parents of 10th Grade Students, we have an important announcement for you. This fall, all 10th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). This assessment is an important opportunity for your child because:
-- It provides feedback on their academic strengths and areas for growth.
-- For students who continue testing in 11th grade, it can open the door to scholarship opportunities through the National Merit Scholarship Program and other organizations.
The best news is that the state is paying for the test AGAIN this year, so there is no cost for families.
