Rattler Family, the Magazine High School Junior Class will host a "Drop and Shop" for parents from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the MHS cafeteria. Parents will be able to drop off their children (ages 5-12) and have members of the Junior Class babysit them while they tend to their Christmas shopping tasks. Cost is $5 per hour per child (not to exceed $50 per family). Children will be treated to lots of fun and games. Snacks will be provided, but lunch will not be served. The junior high girls and boys basketball games originally scheduled for tomorrow evening (Friday, Nov. 21) as part of a four-game night at Eureka Springs have been cancelled. The senior high games will now start at 5 p.m. with the senior high girls game followed by the senior high boys game. Please make note of this change and plan accordingly. Rattler Family, here's a reminder that we are excited to invite our students and families to our Magazine Elementary Thanksgiving Feast celebration on tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 20), at Diamondback Arena. Cost is $10 per person (non-students), and tickets may be purchased in the Magazine Elementary School Office. Please review the information and procedures below.
Important Information:
Student Drop-Off: Students should be dropped off at their regular time to begin their school day as usual.
Location: Students will be bused to Diamondback Arena during their scheduled lunchtime.
Parent/Guardian Check-In: All visitors will be required to present a photo ID and sign in upon arrival, and again when checking out your student after lunch.
Meal Cost: $10 per person.
Tickets may be purchased at the Elementary School Office.
If sending payment with your student, please send exact change — teachers do not have cash on hand to make change.
Lunch Schedule:
LUNCH TIMES: Toddlers-1st grade 10:30-11:10 2nd-6th grades 11:20-12:00
We are unable to allow students to leave class to join family members who have a different lunch period.
However, families are welcome to stay and sit with each child during their respective lunch times.
Safety Reminder: To ensure the safety of all students and to keep everyone clear of traffic, we kindly ask for your cooperation with these procedures.

Rattler Family, here's a reminder that Rattler Basketball Homecoming 2025 week starts Dec. 1 . Get your outfits ready for a week of dress-up days. Here is a list of each day’s theme: Monday (Dec 1) is Mismatched Monday, Tuesday (Dec 2) is Christmas Holiday, Wednesday (Dec 3) is Dynamic Duo, Thursday (Dec 4) is Country vs. Country Club and Friday (Dec 5) is Class Theme. High school students need to meet with their grade level to find out their theme for Friday.For the Friday class theme, the elementary has decided that kindergarten will dress up as Space Jam, first grade will wear Christmas clothes, second grade will dress up as "Welcome to the Jungle”, third grade will wear neon, fourth grade will wear camo, fifth grade will dress in western attire and sixth grade will dress as construction workers. Rattler Family, there will be a new look to the conference next fall for our Lady Rattler volleyball teams following the realignment of the conferences by the Arkansas Activities Association this week to account for the addition of 15 new teams throughout the state. Magazine will again compete in the 2A-3 Conference, as will defending 2A state champion Hackett and Mulberry., and will welcome defending 3A state champion Mansfield, Mountainburg and Two Rivers to the six-team conference.
