Rattler Family, our first home senior high football game will be against Danville on Friday, Sept. 8. If you would like to support our football program, one easy way you can help is to volunteer to be a part of the pre-game crew in charge of the inflatable Rattler run-through. As part of the crew, you will help inflate, deflate and pack up the Rattler inflatable. This is a great opportunity for students or adults to be a part of the pre-game festivities. The next session of the after-school theatre dance class will be Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the safe room and is open to any student in grades 7-12. Rattler Family, our students and faculty are always there to help one another. Earlier this week, students from Mr. McGaugh's construction tech classes helped assemble and deliver ballet barres to the campus safe room for use in the new after-school theatre dance classes, which are taught by Magazine Schools K-12 social-emotional counselor Shanna Moore. Rattler Family, with the start of a new school year, it's important to establish procedures for our students to follow throughout the school year, especially when it comes to their safety. On Wednesday, we held a campus-wide tornado safety drill to familiarize our students with our safety procedures in the event of extremely severe weather. Administrators and staff from the elementary school and high school also explained safe room rules and procedures. The drill was a part of our continued effort to make student safety our top priority at Magazine Schools. #RattlerPride #RattlerFamily #LearningIsRequired
