Rattler Family, being selected to attend American Legion Arkansas Boys State or American Legion Auxiliary Arkansas Girls State is an honor that lasts a lifetime from high school to college, military service or trade school to careers. Magazine Schools is proud to celebrate three generations of MHS American Legion Auxiliary Arkansas Girls State delegates -- Barbara Schmitt, Brandy Young and Abby Crandall. They were a part of our meet and greet reception organized by Magazine Schools Federal Programs/Curriculum Administrator and Military Family Liaison Karen Gipson for our 2026 Boys and Girls State delegates, our sponsors, former MHS Boys and Girls State delegates and Magazine Schools faculty and staff who are former Boys and Girls State delegates on Monday at the MHS cafeteria. Nurse Beth was named Magazine Elementary School Teacher/Staff Member of the Month for May during our monthly Rattler Rally today.🍎 If you’ve ever walked into the nurse's office feeling a little under the weather or had an ache or pain, you know that Nurse Beth is so much more than just a school nurse. She is a caretaker, a listener and a constant source of sunshine for our students and staff alike! ☀️
