Rattler Family, each year, the Magazine Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has shown improvement from the ninth-12th grades and plans to attend an institution of higher education, which can be any type of college, vocational/trade school or cosmetology school. The schedule will be ELA for Reading and Language on Tuesday (May 7), Math on Wednesday (May 8) and Science on Thursday (May 9). Rattler Family, Josie Oliver want 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and drove in one run as the No. 3 seed Lady Rattlers beat the No. 1 seed Cotter Lady Warriors 7-5 this afternoon in the third-place game of the 2A-West Region Tournament at Lavaca. Oliver was one of five Lady Rattlers with multiple hits. Zoey Thurman, Mattie Terry, Destiny Corley and Hallee Franklin had 2 hits apiece, and Thurman, Ainslee Chappell, Destiny Corley, Joslyn Corley had 1 RBI apiece. Terry earned the win, allowing 5 runs (all earned) on 13 hits with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts over 7 innings.
