Rattler Family, we updated our record book again yesterday as Jailynn Sims broke her own school record in the discus, which she set earlier this spring, with a heave of 115 feet, 10 inches in the Meet of Champions, finishing ninth overall in the ultra-competitive event. Rattler Family, Jailynn Sims set a school record in the discus during Wednesday's Arkansas High School Meet of Champions at Lake Hamilton High School with a heave of 115 feet, 10 inches. She finished ninth overall. Elizabeth Merritt finished 11th in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:59.73.
