Rattler Family, with temperatures reaching 105 degrees, our students couldn't play outside, so Mrs. Chappell's and Mrs. Hughes' second grade classes turned the heat into a science experiment! They placed crayons outside and observed the changes the sun can cause to materials. It was a fun, hands-on way to turn a very hot day into an exciting learning opportunity.
