Rattler Family Update:
Since there has not been an increase in cases or quarantines within the schools, masks will be optional and will NOT be required starting Monday, April 19, 2021.
All MOP and Pre-K staff will continue to wear masks per ABC/Licensing regulations.
All other Covid protocols will remain the same.

April 15-19 are virtual learning days. Sack breakfasts/ lunches will be available for pick up at the Elementary Cafeteria from 11:00-12:00 Monday-Thursday (Fridays meals will be distributed with Thursdays) . Students can pick up meals or parents can pick up meals for their children on these days.
Attention Parents!
Please watch for forms coming home today from the School Nurse. She is sending home Immunization Deficiency letters, and BMI/Scoliosis permission screening letters. Scoliosis screenings are required for 6th , 8th grade girls, and 8th grade boys. BMI screenings are required for Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th , and 10th grades. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions.
Magazine Elementary students wore their P.J.’s today to celebrate “Reading is RELAXING!” A special thanks to Dr. Shumate for being the mystery reader of the day. It’s a great day to be a RATTLER!

Students are dressed in their favorite jerseys or team gear today to celebrate “Reading is ACTIVE!” An extra special thanks goes out to Ms. Kerri for taking time out of her busy schedule to be the mystery reader of the day.
Cheerleading Tryouts will be Friday, March 19th. Packets can be picked in in the High school and Elementary offices. Practices will be March 10th, 11th, and 17th. We will have our meeting and first practice on March 10th at 3:30 in the Old Gym. If you have any questions, contact Brooke Bolinger.
Today students celebrated “Reading Takes YOU Places!” Students wore clothes that portrayed their future career choice. A special thanks to Nurse Katy Chambers for being the mystery reader of the day.
MES celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with special guest readers and and a birthday lunch party complete with cupcakes. Head baseball coach Dakota Suttles was the mystery reader of the day. A special thanks to Sydnie Pickartz, Raymie Davis, Clair Curtis & Coach Suttles for their help today.

MES kicked off Read Across America week by dressing up to celebrate that “Reading is Amazing & so are YOU!” Students also enjoyed a mystery reader video from MHS royalty. A special thanks to Ms. Jordyn Krigbaum the MHS football homecoming Queen & Sydnie Pickartz the MHS basketball homecoming Queen for being the mystery readers for Monday.
