Rattler Students in Grades 9-12, do you love to cook? Do you love to compete? Here's your chance to do both! Magazine Schools is excited to announce that it will participate in the sixth annual K-12 Culinary Connection Student Chef Showdown! The first round will be held at Magazine High School on Oct. 28. The winner will have the chance to move on to the grand finale at Pulaski Tech Culinary Institute in April. Rattler Family, we had several Magazine FFA and 4-H students participate in the recent South Logan County Fair with some earning honors and awards for their work. Rattler Family, just a reminder that it's time to officially celebrate the partnership between Magazine Schools and K-12 Culinary Connection! Grand Opening Day will be lunch time on Friday, Sept. 9, at both the elementary and high school cafeterias. The menu will be your choice of orange chicken and fried rice or pepperoni pizza and broccoli, fresh salad bar, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit and milk. This event is open to parents, faculty and staff, and cost for an adult meal is $3.75. Scan the QR code below for a printable pre-registration lunch attendance form.
