Rattler Family, our seniors participated in Day 2 of the Ready, Set, Graduate program presented by the University of Arkansas Extension Service today, participating in the Mall of Life and mock job interviews. As part of the Mall of Life, seniors drew for a specific career and, based on the income of that specific career, had to make life decisions like purchasing housing, automobiles, utilities, food, insurance, etc. Afterward, seniors participated in mock job interviews using the resumes they created based on their skills, education and experience. Rattler Family, our Lady Rattlers track and field team finished seventh overall in Thursday's Tiger Relays at Mansfield. Jailynn Sims won the shot put (31-8) and the discus (103-8), and Elizabeth Merritt finished second in the 1600-meter run (5:47.82), fourth in the 3200-meter run (13:32.92) and seventh in the discus (65-4). Phoebe Hopper finished fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:14.68) and seventh in the 3200-meter run (15:40.31). In the boys division, Bryson Smith finished 16th in the shot put (30-5).
